Actions and access, separate from organization structure📁 Import / Export
📥 Import opportunities from Excel or CSV
Upload a full backup created below to restore tenant business data and team profiles, or upload opportunities from Excel or CSV. Map fields, preview duplicates and confirm before importing. Login credentials and security settings stay in their separate stores.
📤 Export to Excel
Save tenant business data as an Excel (.xlsx) workbook. It includes a restore sheet for deals, organizations, partners, team, tasks, activity, and related business data alongside readable report sheets.
🗑️ Data Management
Two levels of reset — choose carefully.
Wipes deals, accounts, partners, tasks, and documents. Team members and their logins are untouched — safe to use.
Also wipes Team Member / Technical Owner profile rows. Existing logins survive but become orphaned — you'll need "🔧 Recover Missing Profiles" afterward.

🏅 Partner Tiers
Define your partner program's tiers — discount rate, MDF eligibility, and benefits — then assign partners to them from PartnersLegacy tier values found. Some partners still carry the old free-text Tier field (T1/T2/T3) from before Partner Tiers existed. This one-time action creates a matching tier definition for each distinct value (0% discount/MDF to start — edit the real rates after) and assigns those partners to it. Nothing is deleted or overwritten if you don't run this.

Welcome to Navynt
Navynt is a Business Command Center — know what matters today, prepare for tomorrow, and keep source records current.

- Today / My Work — execute commitments and personal actions.
- Business — maintain Organizations, Opportunities, Partners and Products.
- Tomorrow — prepare what comes next before it becomes Today.
- Team, Insights & Operations — use according to your responsibility.
Menus and actions depend on your role and workspace permissions. If something is missing, ask your workspace administrator.

Version v1.2Last updated 4 October 2026
This guide applies to the current Navynt release. Some features may depend on your role and workspace permissions.
Frequently asked questions
How roles, visibility, and access work in this workspace. Menus and actions still depend on your Role and hierarchy layer.
What do the different roles mean?
- Tenant Admin — workspace operations, all business records, team administration, and Admin-retained tools (branding, fiscal year, approval rules). Security surfaces such as SSO, API keys, webhooks, and audit need a Security Owner once owners are designated — not this role alone.
- Management — company-wide business access, reports, approvals, and Manage Team. No automatic Security Owner powers, no Permission Manager, and cannot grant Tenant Admin.
- Team Lead — login type for leads. Day-to-day action rights come from the person’s Org Hierarchy layer.
- Standard User — login type for individual contributors. Action rights come from their hierarchy layer.
- Technical Owner — technical-queue login with Technical Work. Products and commercial approvals are not automatic.
Your Role and hierarchy layer are set by people with Manage Team (layer permission flags are set by Permission Manager). You do not configure visibility filters yourself.
Why can’t I see a deal or account that a colleague can see?
Navynt shows you data based on where you sit in the organization. If a record belongs to a different branch, region, or team outside your reporting line, it will not appear in your view. If you believe you should have access, contact your admin or Team Lead.
How does “Manage Team” work?
Manage Team lets Tenant Admin, Management, or people whose hierarchy layer was granted Manage Team manage people and logins inside their allowed scope. It does not grant Permission Manager, and it does not let you assign Tenant Admin. You cannot grant yourself or anyone else access outside what you are already authorized to manage.
What happens if two people edit the same record at the same time?
Navynt checks whether a record has changed since you opened it before saving. If someone else saved first, you are prompted to review the latest version before your edit goes through — this prevents one person’s changes from silently overwriting another’s.
How do I request access to something I can’t see?
Contact your admin or the manager responsible for that branch, region, or business unit. Access changes are made server-side and take effect the next time your session refreshes.
Is multi-factor authentication (MFA) required?
If your organization has MFA enabled, you will be prompted for a second verification step at login, in addition to your username and password.
How do I reset my password?
Use the Forgot password link on the login screen. If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO), reset your password through your organization’s identity provider instead.
Does Navynt on a phone work the same way as the web app?
Yes. A phone browser talks to the same backend and enforces the same role-based visibility. There is no separate offline copy of your data; everything loads live.
Why do some fields look different from what I expected?
Navynt uses industry-neutral terminology so the same platform works across software, services, manufacturing, and other business types. Your admin can configure field labels to match your organization’s terminology where applicable.
How do I upload a file, quotation, or tender document?
Upload PDF, JPG or PNG attachments from accessible opportunity and account records, or upload a signed copy on a contract. Files have a 10 MB maximum and count toward your workspace storage allowance. Downloads follow the record's access permissions. Documents and PO copies can also retain links to your existing storage.
Who do I contact for help?
Reach out to your organization’s Navynt admin first for access or configuration questions. For anything else, contact info@navynt.com.
